Most spearfishing is done on a single breath of air (freediving) which offers freedom to hunt out fish species without the sound of noisey bubbles associated with tank diving that can alert timid fish species like snapper to your presence.

Kayaks have proven effective platforms to further aid the spearo when hunting snapper and other fish because of their quiet stealth like nature. Using a kayak when spearfishing is the most eco friendly option to hunt and gather seafood.

Rob Fort started spearfishing from the age of 13 years old and originally explored using kayaks because of his freediving and spearfishing pursuits. You will find in this section a selection of equipment that is used and recommended by him.
'If you are into spearfishing (eco fishing) or freediving and demand good quality gear made to high standards then check out the range I know you won't be disapointed. All the best Rob Fort'
