Coromandel Kayak Adventures has a variety of sit-on-top kayaks for hire. The fleet consists of a number of different types to suit whatever activity you choose to do. We use the Ocean Kayak range which are stable and user friendly.

We pride ourselves in having a well set-up and maintained fleet of kayaks.

The kayak fleet is placed into 3 categories: Play, Touring & Fishing consisting of the following models:

OCEAN KAYAK FRENZY - Single Person (play) - This is a small manageable kayak for family fun while at the beach. The Frenzy is a very stable kayak.

OCEAN KAYAK SCRAMBLER XT - Single Person (play/fishing) - The Scrambler has it all in a stable forgiving boat. OCEAN KAYAK MALIBU TWO - 1 to 3 Person (play) - Here's one for all the family! With three molded in seats and foot-wells, the Malibu Two offers plenty of space. Good all round performance and great stability for 1, 2 or 3 paddlers! Great family boat for the beach. For the larger person can be paddled as a single. OCEAN KAYAK PROWLER 4.5 ELITE - single (touring/fishing) - Used by Coromandel Kayak Adventures touring and kayak fishing trips. Designed to handle the toughest of conditions for both offshore and inshore touring/fishing with good speed and overall performance. The rudder allows for better handling in more windy conditions. An excellent performance sit-on-top kayak, ideal for anyone who is serious about kayak touring or fishing. Specifications: Length: 4.5 metres, Width: 71 cm, Weight: 31 kg, Capacity: 230 kgs

OCEAN KAYAK CABO - 2 person (touring/fishing) - Designed to handle the toughest of conditions for both offshore and inshore touring/fishing with excellent speed and overall performance. This kayak is ideal for anyone who is serious about touring or fishing. The large front hatch allows for plenty of below deck storage enabling full day or overnight excursions. An excellent kayak for anyone planning a bit of diving also. Coromandel Kayak Adventures uses the Cabo for Fishing and Scenic Eco Touring.
